Janet Smith, PhD
Janet E. Smith holds the Father Michael J. McGivney Chair of Life Ethics at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Well over a million copies of her talk Contraception: Why Not have been distributed. Her latest book is Life Issues, Medical Choices: A Q and A book on bioethical issues. She has a new series of twelve talks entitled Sexual Common Sense which includes a revised version of Contraception: Why Not. She is serving a second term as a consultor to the Pontifical Council on the Family.
